Founded in 2019, Gilbert Street Kitchens was established with the vision of becoming Australia's leading food manufacturer. Built by husband-and-wife team Conrad and Suzette Smith, GSK has experienced rapid growth since its inception, driven by a clear focus on quality, innovation, and customer-first solutions.

Backed by decades of industry experience across airline catering, retail food production, hospitality, events, and large-scale food service operations, our team is uniquely equipped to deliver high-quality, tailored solutions to meet the evolving needs of our diverse clientele. We understand the operational demands of our customers and bring both agility and consistency to every project.

Over the years, we have developed and launched several successful brands, most notably The St. Food Co., our flagship retail and direct-to-consumer ready meal range available nationwide. We’ve also expanded our footprint in the foodservice space with the creation of EveryChef, a purpose-built solution supporting commercial kitchens, healthcare, aged care, and hospitality venues with high-quality, chef-prepared meals.

In response to growing demand, 2025 marked a major milestone for GSK as we transitioned from our original facility in Kelvin Grove to a purpose-designed, high-capacity production site in Richlands, Brisbane. This new facility supports our continued growth, increased volume requirements, and ability to service both national and export markets.
